Twenty years ago, Cynthia Bland O'Toole was installed as Chapter President. Many say Cynthia's best leadership asset was her ability to move people toward a common goal. She believed in education and, as past president, chaired a committee that helped provide educational resources and scholarships for NAWBO members who wanted to go to the next level in business. Leadership is a cornerstone of what I do on a daily basis so it is no surprise that my initial thoughts as the incoming president are focused on this topic. As we kick off a new fiscal year in NAWBO I am reminded of how fast time can move when you desire to demonstrate the type of leadership that will enhance an already viable business model.
