  • NAWBO BENEFITS-Did you know . . . ?
  • Did you know that as a member, you can access and send emails through NAWBO's listserv? All you have to do is address your email to nawbo- chicago@googlegroups.com. Members are automatically added to the listserv group when they become members. If you care to be removed, just contact the office. You can also go to www.googlegroups.com to set up options to receive the emails.

Also, did you know that as a member of NAWBO Chicago, you are eligible to join a committee? It is a great way to work side by side (and/or by phone) with other NAWBO members, network, build relationships, and help the organization with its goals for the year - not to mention having a good time in the process. If you want to take your membership to the next level, join a committee! All committees are happy to welcome new members, so take a look at the committee list and see which are of interest. This page also provides contact information for committee leaders.

The following committees are especially seeking new members, contact the committe chair if you are interested:
    · Membership Development - Maria Burud or Deborah Ford
    · Technology Planning - Patti Ross·
    · Marketing - Charisse Witherspoon
    · PR - Michelle Mekky
    · Affiliates - Christina Harrison
    · Membership Benefits - Judy Beaver·
    · Connecting Points - Lark Rains or Kathy Bussert

It's a great way to enrich your NAWBO membership.

Finally, did you know that except for a few of the big NAWBO events (i.e., PAC fashion show, holiday party, gala luncheon, etc.), the cost to attend events as a member of NAWBO is $25 or less. This is a result of members requesting lower priced events. We heard your voices and did something about it. Want to learn more about NAWBO benefits? For assistance in navigating the many benefits that NAWBO offers, contact Michele Katz, Director of Membership Benefits and a partner at the law firm of Husch Blackwell Sanders Welsh & Katz,312-775-0402.

  • CCIL - 100 Years - Dedication. Commitment. Success.
  • Give a man a fish and you have fed him for today. Teach a man to fish and you have fed him for a lifetime. NAWBO Chicago Chapter President Angelika Coghlan, Managing Partner of Catwalk Consulting, offered helpful insight and recommendations during her visit to CCIL on October 8.
