President's Message
|
| |
By Deborah Chambers Chima
Providing a
Compelling Legacy
I continue to be impressed with the dedication our
members have to ensuring that NAWBO Chicago
remains on the leading edge of services for women
business owners. Many of you do not get the privilege
of seeing the behind the scenes work of our
committees, SIGs, and the Board of Directors. I can
assure you that you would be impressed. What
makes a great organization remain great?

Standouts
|
| |
By Sheila Gidley
Standouts is typically
dedicated to an unsung hero -
someone who has used their time and talent to
benefit the organization, but not in a role that would be
publicly recognized. This month's subject is definitely
a hero, and while she did hold perhaps the most
public role in the organization, I believe few people
realize the degree of the dedication, generosity and
energy she has expended on behalf of the Chapter.
I'm talking about the NAWBO Chicago 2006-2007
President, Catherine Lee.

Special Thanks
|
| |
By Sharan Tash
As many of you know, Catherine Lee honored me on
June 29th with the President's Award from NAWBO
Chicago. Unfortunately, I was not able to thank many
of the people that should have been up on stage with
me, because I could not have made the impact on
NAWBO that I have without your help. This award is
because each of you have made me who I am
today.
